A 19th Spanish terracota liming vessel
A rather unusual 19th C. Spanish terracotta vessel.
Made in the town of Calanda Spain and originally for the storage of olive oil, the vessel at some point was instead used to mix lime used in the construction process of Spanish properties resulting in a fantastic white patination.
